Ex-2PM leader to perform at music festival

Park Jae beom or Jay Park from 2PM, but now he is not a part of 2PM anymore. He has sign a contract with Sidus HQ for his new album. Park Jae Beom returned to Korea to promote his music and movie. His female fans were excited at Jae Beom return back to Korea. He will join an all-star line-up on stage at the festival to be staged at Naksan Beach in Yangyang, Gangwon Province from Aug. 6-7. On stage there will be international heavy hitters such as hip-hop impresario Kanye West and critically acclaimed rapper Lupe Fiasco, in addition to Scottish electronica act Calvin Harris and emerging alternative rock band Two Door Cinema Club. On the other hand, Jae Boem was cast as the lead for the feature film“Hype Nation”. It a Hollywood film set in the world of break dancing. His comeback album has sold nearly 26,000 copies in its first two days of release. Sidus HQ said that the music festival will be the first performance for Park Jae Beom.

I think fans of Park Jae Beom will be happy for his return back. It will be better if Jae Beom became a member of 2PM again because everyone wants to see him in a band again. Jae Beom also has an album out for his fans to collect.

South Korea green growth to hurt environment

The government of South Korea spends 22.2 trillion won or about 19.68 US dollar to build dam, golf course and to maintain it. It takes four major rivers to do all of that and it increases the quality of the rivers and it prevents flooding. It harms the species that lives around the water especially the water birds. Almost 50 kinds of birds are affected by pollution in water. The species will lose their habitant. A South Korean environment ministry official said that the government will do whatever they can to prevent this harmful project for wildlife.

In my opinion, it might be good to build dam and golf course for their people but it should not destroy the environment such as water birds and many species that live in the water or nearby.

South Korea airport named best in world

Incheon International Airport in South Korea is the best airport in the world, according to the British Skytrax. At Incheon airport, passengers who take the economy class cajavascript:void(0)n get five-star facilities. For example, they can watch movie on the big screen, free internet and take a shower free. Mina Choi, international relations director, Incheon International Airport Corporation, said that they were offering a day spa, nail spa and massages at a normal price. It is a first time that South Korea won the best air port in Asia instead of Singapore and Hong Kong.
Incheon is the eight busiest airports in Asia that has 30 million passengers a year but does not seem busy because the connection time is only 45 minutes.
South Korea is expanding Incheon airport to more passengers and cargo by 2015.

In my opinion, it is good for people who have to wait for a connecting flight for a long time to have something to do or relax. Incheon airport tries to provide convenient things to their customers to be the best airport in Asia.

Small is beautiful

Samsung Electronics introduced a new mini laptop or netbook to the customer, the N150 Plus (left) and R590 (right). Samsung is selling five new mini- laptops, which provide stronger processing power, wireless Internet capability and longer battery life. To compare with the old function of the Samsung laptop, this new one has more conveniences for the customer. In my opinion, I never use a Samsung laptop before but I think it will be a good choice for the customer to buy this laptop. I believe that Samsung choose the best quality for their customer. It is a small laptop and easy to carry around.

Obama Praises Korean Education Again

Korea is one of the most highly educated nations in the world. Obama admired South Korea again about education. Obama encourages Americans to put more effort on their education because America cannot succeed in science if South Korea and India produces more scientists and engineers. Obama used Korean education to be an example of what American educators should try to be like by having longer school days and after-school programs. South Korea is surprise by Obama remarks because Korean education lack creativity and depend on private tutoring.

From what I heard, Korean children have extra class every evening, so they can do well and enter a good university. However, Korean children will be stressed from their studies and do not have any free time to relax.

Setback for South Korea's president in local elections

President Lee Myung-bak, Grand National Party (GNP) lost his election to the Democratic Party (DP). Mr. Lee won only six posts out of seven posts. The reason why Mr. Lee lost his election is because of his tough stand with North Korea. North Korea torpedoed the South Korean ship and caused forty-six sailors to die. North and South Korea has cut relationship. GNP won only six out of 16 mayoral. Hence, South Korean people did not want to vote for GNP because they think Mr. Lee is too tough on North Korea. In my opinion, I agree with South Korean people that Mr. Lee should be more flexible with North Korea, so that the two countries can work together and be stronger. If they join together to become one nation it will be good for them in many ways.
